Whole Family Pics

It was a real treat to have all three of us "home" with our complete families so that meant... a picture!!  I know, it is shocking.

Grandma and Grandpa with all seven grandchildren.

Dave and his family.

My family.

Sara and her family.

We've turned into quite the gang.  Such fun.

Hailey's Baptism

This past weekend the whole family gathered for Hailey's Baptism and it was quite the event.  And, she was quite the good spirited little girl... the entire weekend!!

Every time I turned around there was a picture to be taken and I loved every minute.  This one grabs my heart.

Proud parents.

This little boy cracks me up.  He's got the best smile.

Sara was honored to be Hailey's godmother with Alisa's brother, Bryan, as the godfather.

The R grandparents.

And, the W grandparents.

Don't look so serious Dave!  I guess next time I'll have to break out the whoopie cushion app for the adults.

The event itself went off without a hitch.  She is seriously a great baby.

The whole gang.

Love her to pieces.

Family Pic

It has been a while since we took a family picture so I decided to give it a try.  We got one in before Ryan lost it, but luckily it was somewhat decent.

Since Ryan was done taking pictures and Tyler still wanted to use the camera, Dan and I complied.  Somehow we both went with the unsmile.  But, I think it works.

What a fabulous day!

Rock City Park

Rock City Park has been on my list for months and today was the day!!  And, it was everything I had hoped for and more from the gorgeous drive out there to the park itself.  It is rare to find a place that the whole family enjoys equally, but we all enjoyed this adventure.

I was a little worried when we arrived and I saw this, but luckily the large fake animals were only near the entrance.  The boys enjoyed them.

You walk into the park on top of the rocks and have to go down this really steep staircase.  Yikes!

It made me a bit nervous.

When we finally got down those stairs, what was in front of us was breathtaking.

Some of the passageways were incredibly narrow with names like "fat mans squeeze" which the boys found hilarious, but other parts of the park were wide open.

How cool is this?

And, because we now have two cameras, I'm actually in some pictures!!

Majestic.  I couldn't get everything in one shot!  I guess it is time for a wide angle lens!

How awesome is this...

So cool.

At the end of the trail were "Indian Stairs" that are said to have been there since before the settlers.  They made the stairs at the beginning of the trail look benign.

Hold on tight Ryan!

Check out how steep that is!

But, we all made it out just fine and have Rock City Park marked for a second adventure.
